Ultragift Wishlist & References

CHARACTERS:

I don't have a very clear list of favorite characters, but I'm fond of Gabriel, Mysterious Druid Knight (+ Owl), the prime souls, and machine characters in general—especially V1, V2, Mirage, and Swordsmachine!! All the "popular" characters tend to intrigue me (and also mdk and swordsy, my slightly obscurer faves).

If you're interested in drawing fancharacters, my guy Bugzapper has a wide variety of reference pics over on toyhouse! (You can also draw other characters from the Local Group if you want, though their only real refs are here, here, and here.)

Also, ship whoever you feel like. I don't care whether you're drawing friendship, romance, imperfect hatred, or nothin ^-^ just have fun with the characters!

SCENES/TOPICS:

Well, I should provide you with two prompts here. In that case, I'll say that there are two (not-mutually-exclusive) particular scenarios I personally adore:

• FIGHT SCENES. Go wild with blood, gore n horror if you want! There's something very fun to me about dynamic battle scenes...especially ones of the homosexual variety, and ones where one or all parties seem to be having a great time brawling!! So feel free to focus on the kinds where it's more "personal"; V1 versus Gabriel as opposed to V1 versus an eclectic crowd of husks, for example. Both are good!
• MUNDANE SCENES. In direct contrast to the intense tone of the game, I think it's sweet to have characters just...hang out. For that reason, I REALLY super enjoy "modern" AUs, along the lines of what happens in All-Imperfect Love Song: adapting them to a world where society still exists (though not necessarily humanity) and incidentally drawing them in cute outfits galore (see also, the fanworks Dream's End Come True and Hellscreek). Drawing character interactions in general is a good decision, though!

Lastly, I LOVE insects and other arthropods, and I have sort of an interest in "buggifying" the ULTRAKILL cast, originating from the whole "v1 is a weird little bug" joke. If you'd like to look into it and see what designs I've thought up (ex: gabe with beetle/bee wings, swordsmachine with mantis claws, v1 with a dragonfly tail), I have a messy google doc for that here. You could draw those designs if you like, or show off whatever other design features you like adding to the characters, but it's a light suggestion!
